About the Department:
Department of Education was established in 2015 at Surya Sen Mahavidyalaya, the Department of Education has undergone remarkable development, initially offering Education as a general subject and later integrating a Major paper in 2023.. The department takes pride in its progressive initiatives, including the introduction of a major focus on Education. Presently, the faculty comprises three dedicated female educators who bring a diverse range of expertise to the academic landscape. The department actively engages students through innovative initiatives. Teacher exchange programs, project work, poster presentations, and seminars on career orientation are integral components of the curriculum. These activities foster a dynamic and collaborative learning environment, providing students with practical experiences and a comprehensive understanding of the field.
