The main objectives of the Anti-Ragging Committee are:
(a) To create a safe and secure environment for students.
(b) To raise awareness about the harmful effects of ragging.
(c) To discourage and prevent instances of ragging.
(d) To provide support and counselling to those affected by ragging.
The Anti-Ragging Committees with the help of Anti-Ragging Squard engages in various activities to fulfil its objectives, including:
(a) Organizing orientation programs to educate incoming students about the consequences of ragging.
(b) Conducting surprise checks and inspections of campus areas.
(c) Responding promptly to any complaints or reports of ragging.
(d) Providing counselling and support to victims and perpetrators.
(e) Collaborating with college authorities, faculty, and student representatives to maintain a ragging-free environment.
