About the Department:
The Department of Economics started its journey since the inception of the College, then in 2000 the honours course was initiated. Presently the department has well convergent good quality teachers with sincere students and the teacher student ratio is also very good. The Department offers in every year several Add on courses with pertinent topic and continuously engaged with several teaching learning activities applying different methodologies like periodical Wall magazine, Organising students' centric seminar, Faculty Exchange Programme, Invited Lectures. The Department has advanced classroom with ICT Panel, using this students are participated in different online based lecture schedule like, IHD Silver Jubilee Lectures etc and continuously in touched with changes in world's economic scenario labour market etc which may develop their understanding level.
